The Newton Board of Aldermen voted unanimously to approve a zone change and special permit for The Station at Riverside, a $350 million mixed use development consisting of 580,000 square feet of office, residential, retail and community space to be built on a 9.38 acre parcel which is the site of the existing Riverside MBTA parking lot on Grove Street.   The approval was the culmination of four years of effort by Steve and the development team, which included the creation of a new Mixed-Use 3/Transit-Oriented District in the Newton Zoning Ordinances.
